Description

Quartzite is a hard metamorphic rock or more precisely a sandstone that turns into a pure quartzite under heat and pressure. This natural stone typically comes in white and grey colors but shades of pink, gold and brown can also occur, although less common. Quartzite can be used in various applications such as countertops, flooring, wall decor, vanity tops and even tabletops. Generally, it is harder and more resistant to stains than marble and granite. Nevertheless, it will require some maintenance.
