THESIZE started its activities on late 2009. During its first two years in business, R+D work was focused on the making of NEOLITH, the world´s largest technical porcelain slab with different thicknesses up to 10mm, and with all the unique physical and aesthetic properties of technical porcelain.
THESIZE is committed with total quality controls, customer service and worldwide promotion.
NEOLITH is a high performance material ideal for applications such as kitchen coverings. NEOLITH does not scratch, does not stain, is heat, fire and heavy-duty cleaning agent resistant, and, thanks to the extremely low absorption rate of technical porcelain, ideal for food contact and processing. Unique physical properties makes NEOLITH a versatile product with high technical and aesthetic performance.
- NEOLITH is resistant to every climate and extreme weather conditions due to its unique mechanical properties.
- NEOLITH is UV resistant, frost resistant and has a low thermal expansion index.
- NEOLITH is lightweight and generates efficiency and productivity for installation reducing structural load .

CARE & MAINTENANCE TIPS
As stated in the NEOLITH specifications, it’s made of a material that doesn’t need any special care and it is really easy to keep clean. Furthermore, THE SIZE also has another surface water and moisture proofing option to prevent staining and/or external agents from attacking the protection and it easy to clean. All this makes it one of the best floor and wall claddings available.
Periodical cleaning just involves washing with water or a diluted commercial detergent, which is enough to restore the cladding to its original condition. Occasionally deeper cleaning might be needed or the certain finishes might have to be restored, which include:
Initial cleaning when the project is finished
Once THE SIZE slabs have been laid and the final pointing work with the corresponding product is complete, the NEOLITH surface will have a thin film of cement or pointing material on it. Any remaining cement can be removed by washing with warm water or very diluted acidic solutions (diluted vinegar). Be careful when choosing the cleaning agent to use, as in the majority of cases damage to the cladding is caused by using cleaning products that are too strong (high concentrations, hydrochloric acid, etc.) or by using products that are unsuitable for the type of surface (solid detergents with abrasive particles on shiny surfaces).
In any case the following precautions should be taken:
Never use an acidic cleaner on THE SIZE when it has just been laid because the acid could react with the cement glue and even damage the joints. It is a good idea to soak the surface with clean water before treating it with any type of chemical. This prevents any agents used from being absorbed by the pointing material or by EXTRAORDINARY CERAMIC Slabs . Then rinse the surface immediately after the treatment to remove any remaining chemicals.
Thorough stain and grime cleaning
Occasionally, EXTRAORDINARY LAMINA can retain stains from different products that are spilled or come into contact with the surface.
Some products cannot be removed in the usual way and need specific cleaning procedures that depend on the type of cladding and kind of stain.
